“Green Georgia – Connecting Regions for a Sustainable Future” – Selection of Study Tour Participants

We are starting the selection of study tour participants who will take a 1-week training course on energy efficiency in Poland at the end of October 2025. The study tour will be implemented within the framework of the project “Green Georgia – Connecting Regions for a Sustainable Future”.
Project Objectives:
• Objective 1: To promote sustainable development, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Georgia in cooperation with Poland, through the sharing of experience and knowledge.
• Objective 2: To raise environmental awareness and promote energy-efficient solutions and EU eco-standards in order to combat climate change.
• Objective 3: Encouraging long-term cooperation between science, business, local authorities and other organizations to implement innovative energy-efficient solutions and mechanisms to support the green transformation in the Guria region.
The project is based on the transfer of knowledge and best practices in the field of energy efficiency in Poland, in particular in the Małopolska region, to the Guria region. The project is implemented by the Polish organization Fundacja Pro-Pomost.

Applications for the selection of participants for the study tour will be accepted from August 15 to September 15, 2025. A total of 14 participants will be selected from four target groups:
1. Representatives of academic circles, teachers
2. Representatives of local self-government administration.
3. Business representatives
4. Representatives of society, representatives of non-governmental organizations.
